Born to Drum 2010 was held July 2-5 at Walker Creek Ranch in Petaluma, California, an hour's drive from San Francisco or Oakland. What a fabulous time we had!
And much to do now -- people to thank! Plans to make for 2011!
And Our Favorite Thing: Photos to View. We were fortunate to have three wonderful women -- Maria, Suashia,and Vaschelle -- taking photos at Born to Drum. Location and Facilities
Walker Creek Ranch is a beautiful facility offering a variety of accommodations and fabulous food. It is between Petaluma and Port Reyes Station and

Camp Fees:
We are currently evaluating the cost of camp; prices for Born to Drum 2011 will be available shortly. As always, price will include all classes, performances, and other activities during the camp week-end as well as accommodations and meals.
Some drums will be available for use in the classroom. You can also rent a drum for the week-end: See the FAQ page for rental information.

Overnight passes are available only if you also choose a day pass. Prices are for one night. Overnight passes include accommodations and breakfast. Overnight passes are available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Payment Plan: You can sign up now for the Payment Plan for Born to Drum 2011. This plan allows you to pay for camp beginning now, or anytime before May 1, by sending multiple payments at your convenience. All payments must be complete by June 15. Payments are by check or cash only.
To start participating in the payment plan, send us:
* A check for $100 as your initial payment
* Your name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number
* The type of housing you have selected (camping, dormitory, semi-private room, private room (2 or more to a room)

CANCELLATION POLICY
By registering for camp you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the cancellation policy as follows:
If for any reason you cancel your registration on or before June 1, WDI will return your registration fee less a $75 processing fee.
If for any reason you cancel your registration after June 1 and before June 29, WDI will return one half the registration fee less a $75 processing fee.
If for any reason you cancel your registration June 29 or later or are a "no show" the registration fee will not be refunded. |

Marketplace
The Marketplace will be back for Born to Drum 2011. Many thanks to all our vendors who made the 2010 marketplace such fun.
Of particular interest are percussion instruments, drum bags, soaps, herbal teas, clothes, jewelry, etc We welcome other visual arts as well as services such as massage and body work. This is a women-only event and vendors must be female.
Spaces are approximately 10' by 10' and outside, so we recommend a canopy or umbrella.

Work Study
Thank you to Neena McNair and the women of the Work Study Staff -- Your were fabulous!
The work study staff for Born to Drum 2010 were once again just amazing. This program is necessary to making the camp happen and the wonderful women on work study brought many talents, great attitudes, and a lot of energy and enthusiasm that contributed enormously to the success of Born to Drum 2010.
Applications for Work Study will be available in the spring.
